Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope you all ate too much and relaxed even more.
My little Thanksgiving break from work started Wednesday afternoon with a quick and hard workout at the gym. I felt like I severely pulled my hamstring after the gym on Tuesday so I started the day off on this new stretch machine at my gym. It looks a lot like a luggage cart so I felt awkward on it the entire time.
After a long stretch I headed over to the treadmill to do Tuesday’s treadmill workout. I finished it up with a quick 15 minute ab circuit.
Getting the gym out of the way was my main goal on Wednesday, I love a good non-work night in the middle of the week. Wednesday night was for putting up Christmas decorations and getting into the holiday spirit! I started it out with a new drink I wanted to try with things I had on hand/I really wanted Rum Chata. The recipe is super simple.
2 parts Rum Chata
1 part Caramel Vodka
1 part butterscotch Schnapps
It really got me in the holiday spirit and turned into this!
Thanksgiving dinner yesterday was your average T-day meal. I left stuffed to the brim. However, the most important thing to happen yesterday was that I got to see Catching Fire after dinner!! I am obsessed with The Hunger Games books/movies/characters. It was the best way to end Thanksgiving 100%. Hunger Games on Thanksgiving might be a new tradition for me.
